KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Locks of Love is passionate about helping kids with special needs (Down’s Syndrome, Autistic children, etc.) and will take requests to conduct lessons at special schools, enlightening the students on how to prepare themselves for a haircut. We had successfully conducted such activities at Pathlight Autisim School.

SERVICES: Children’s haircuts, styling, colouring and makeovers.

RATES: $5 for wash and blow, $10 for haircuts.

No Chinese New Year Surcharge.

* Jan and Feb, children will enjoy a promotional rate of $7 for haircuts between 11.30am and 5.30pm

* Promotional rates applicable to first-time customers only.

THE CUT: Equipped with child booster seats, LCD TVs showing kids’ favourite videos.

Candies will be offered and our stylists are specially trained to put kids at ease.

RATES : Home Service haircuts are available at $30 per trip.

Locks of Love (formerly known as Cutie Cutz; website: http://cutiecutz.blogspot.com) was first established on 18 Apr 2008 in Ang Mo Kio central. In Apr 09, we shifted to Yishun after expanding our range of services and revamping ourselves.

Our staff comprises of highly motivated and efficient hairstylists who continued to set high standards for hair services. We understand totally the inner desire to feel good about ourselves, and will attend to your needs closely. We do not follow hair trends and fashion thoughtlessly. Instead, we aim to provide professional hairstyling advice based on individuality, taking into consideration the client’s lifestyle and personality. In gist, we want to provide you with 5-star hair salon services at heartland prices.

Our Policy

At Locks of Love, the interests of our customers comes above everything else. We believe in total customer satisfaction, and will not overlook this fact for profit. Although relatively a small player, we aim to provide professional and dedicated hair services at an affordable price for the whole family. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service, please do not hesitate to approach our stylists whom will address your concerns to the best of their abilities. Our motto is simple: To make sure every of our customers leave our salon with a smile. We find it very heartwarming when our customers comment that they are happy with their new look and that is what drives us to work harder. To put it simply, we are looking to establish a long term relationship with our customers.

We recognise the inconvenience of a long wait during the peak hours and are currently working to solve the problem. Your patience on this matter is much appreciated.

Tips on First Haircut

If it is time for junior’s first haircut, avoid visiting a barber who is not adapt at dealing with children. The child’s very first haircut to a hairstylist is crucial as she will form positive or negative impressions of the person snipping away. Extra efforts should be made to ensure that there are no fears or tears.
